meh losing all energy is horrible. Maybe one or two wars could bring it, but isn't the point of iway to apply constant pressure? Losing energy means you can't disrupt, you can't use TF (main form of pressure), can't lay your spirits after original lay.
IWAY's ghey anyways

Like those before me have said, Destructive Chop is a poor choice for IWAY for the reasons listed. I had the opportunity to play with D-Chop quite a bit during the preview weekend and it's defintely an adreno-spike skill. Even with a zealous or furious weapon it takes a bit to recover after using it. Focus swapping is not really a good strategy with it for the reason that TomCruisejr listed. The delay in weapon swapping is too great. By the time you've swapped weapons, your target is either dead from other pressure applied or fully healed. However the damage that it puts out is just stupid. Against a 60 armor level target I was hitting for 217 (temporary deep wound damage added). Toss in a lightning orb, obsidian flame or lifebane strike in there and you have one dead target real quick.

I know its hard for most warriors to work out how to weaponswap, but you can spike with a -5en axe, which also guarantees your +15% dmg and swap back after the spike to redeem your free 5 energy at the end of it.
Also with IWAY they gain the speedboost from the shout, which lasts about 60 seconds or so once their little pet Chuck Norris is dead, so they dont need to worry about re-applying that often.

With the increased attack speed from IWAY and from TF, a zealous weapon and a weapon swap combo could very quickly earn your energy back.

Let's be honest here, 9.9/10 IWAY pugs don't know what a weapon swap is. Don't give them more credit than they deserve.

So is spelling gay as "ghey". In fact calling a build in a video game "ghey" is quite stupid. I'm failing to see the connection between homosexuality and a build in a video game.

Let's be honest here, 9.9/10 statistics are pulled right of ppl's ass. Btw I think you should learn not to keep smashing your barrage key when diversion is casted on you before worrying about weapon swapping

Aww, somebody getting upset?
1) Way to take everything 110% literal.
2) I've played barrageway maybe 3 times ever? And I haven't done it for 3-4 weeks. So when I say I do barrageway (a joke build) for fun (though we have held with it heh), I really mean just for fun (aka occasionally). Can you say you play IWAY (a joke build) just for fun (aka occasionally)?
Go do what you do best, c+spacebar for the win. Or wait, didn't you add another thing to your list of abilities? You can count to three too, I totally forgot!

Can you tell me which part of my post makes you think I am upset?
1) n/c
2) Hey guys, I was in MATH a guild that only plays IWAY. But I only ever played IWAY 3 times. Would anyone buy that? No. PrPr is a barrageway guild, thus I don't think anyone would buy the fact you barragewayed 3 times... Yes I do play IWAY for fun. Me and my friends have a blast playing IWAY. Joke build? In some peoples opinion, but if you can roll through all 8 maps and hold 10+ times with it, I'm having trouble calling it a joke build.
Go do what you do best, spam your barrage key for the win. And if you ever watched DeeR in GvG, you'd see that there are tactics involved (Albiety not as much as with balance, I give you that). And why don't you go make a guild and spike your way to the top 10? Please, its so easy, why can't you do it? Same with c+space IWAY, if its so easy why can't you hold 10+ times with it during prime time?

lol, we are not a barrageway guild. It's hard for me to take most of what you say serious after you say something like that. It just lets me know how little you actually know about me and my guild.
I don't hate you, I don't hate MATH, I don't hate DeeR, and I don't hate IWAY. I've played IWAY. It is fun. I'm not disagreeing with you on that.
When I say it's noob, that's because it's easy to play. You can be very good with it, without being very good yourself. Now I'm not saying your a bad player, or you don't know what you're doing. You obviously do know your stuff. However, the thing about IWAY is that it's cheap. It's overpowered. The skill in itself. Thus, the build in itself is cheap. The shear lack of defense in IWAY is what makes it a joke build. Basically, take IWAY out of that build and...there is no build. Yeah, yeah...dumb thing to say. Just having a tough time explaining myself
Hopeless > pug IWAY. Yunas > pug IWAY. You guys do have skill, and that's why you can hold. But like I said...the reason you guys do it so much better than pug IWAY teams is 1) communication. That's insanely important. and 2) knowledge...not exaclty skill, but knowing what to do on relic maps, altar maps, how to deal with ghostlys etc. Again, not saying you don't have player skill, but IWAY itself doesn't require a whole lot of skill to be effective.

Well I guess its jumping to conclusions to say your guild is all barrageway. But I guess its like saying DeeR is all spike. Sure they're mostly spike but they have run other builds. And MATH have run builds other than IWAY.
Gotta give you credit for hitting the communcation part dead on. Its amazing how much better your team becomes when you've got all 4 warriors co-ordinate targets, adren spikes, etc. And the rangers co-ordinate with the necs, etc, etc...
However I disagree with the removing the IWAY skill bar. IWAY really only adds +25% and a bit of regen. If you remove IWAY, long as you still got TF, you shouldn't be too bad off. But either way, IWAY is dead in 6v6 ~.~

So you've played barrageway 3 times yet you are in a barrageway guild? That's like saying players in [DeeR] or [Ghood] have only played rspike 3 times.
And btw, last time I checked Guild Wars is all about having fun. And what does playing something occasionally have anything to do about fun?
